David Steadman, founder of David Steadman Garden Design, blends a passion for contemporary aestetics with a lifelong love for horticulture. With a background in military and civilian aviation, specialising in logistics and project management, David brings invaluable expertise to the team. His portfolio includes diverse projects, from large-scale residential to commercial endeavors, including an RHS community garden for the NHS in Chelmsford. Building on his volunteer work on the award-winning show garden, Wilder Spaces, by Jamie Langlands at Malvern in 2023, David continues to push boundaries in garden design, collaborating with industry leaders at prestigious events like RHS Malvern, Chelsea, and Hampton Court.

A pre-registered member of the society of garden designers David holds a diploma in Garden Design from the Cotswold Gardening School and worked as a landscape gardener before joining the Royal Air Force in 2004.
